Filtration removes what you don't want. It doesn't add anything back, and it leaves the
water's oxidation-reduction potential sitting on the wrong side of zero.
"Doesn't water already have hydrogen? It's H₂O."
It does, but it's bound. Water's hydrogen is locked to oxygen with nothing left to give. Only free hydrogen gas acts as an antioxidant. Plain water carries none.

It's not how much you drink. It's what your water does.

Does it work with RO water? +
Yes: RO, filtered or mineral. The SPE/PEM stack splits water at the membrane, so it doesn't need dissolved minerals to electrolyse. That's the main practical difference from plate-only alkaline bottles, which underperform on RO.
How long does the hydrogen stay in the water? +
Drink within 15-20 minutes of the cycle finishing for peak concentration. Hydrogen is the smallest molecule there is and it leaves an open container steadily. Keeping the lid on slows it down.
What's the difference between the two modes? +
Quick Mode runs 3 minutes and reaches 3,000+ PPB. Extended Mode runs 18 minutes and reaches 9,000+ PPB with ORP down to −450 mV. Both are one touch on the panel, and the display shows which is running.
How many cycles per charge? +
18 or more Extended infusions from the 4000 mAh cell; Quick doses go much further. It charges over USB-C in 45 to 60 minutes from the same cable as most phones, and it also sits happily on a wireless charging pad.
Is there any taste or smell? +
Molecular hydrogen is tasteless and odourless. Ozone and chlorine produced on the anode side are exhausted through a separate vent rather than dissolving back into the water.
How do I clean it? +
You mostly don't: one touch runs a reverse-electrolysis self-clean cycle for about 5 minutes. Beyond that, rinse with plain water and let it air-dry with the lid off. Don't put it in a dishwasher and don't submerge the base.
